If you are heading northbound on the I-5, take the San Diedo Airport/Sassafras street exit onto Kettner Boulevard, once there turn right at the traffic lights at Sassafras street and left at the very next set of traffic lights putting you onto Pacific Highway, turn right onto Lauren Street and again right onto North harbor drive, that will take you straight to the airport.
Should you be driving from the I-5 south bound you need to take the San Diego Airport/Hawthorn Street exit, there you will find signs indicating the west bound Hawthorn Street, carry on down North Harbor Drive and turn right to reach the airport.

Located on the ground floor of terminal 1in front of the United Airlines ticket counter and in Terminal 2 East near gate 23 you will find the Bureau de change and if you need to draw cash just go to Terminal1 near the food court there is an ATM, however you will find several ATMs on the second floor of terminal 2, the United Airlines ticket counter will also supply you with all your fax machine, photocopiers as well as being able to transfer/receive money, receive notary service and buy travel insurance, travelers cheques and telephone debit cards here.
Shopping is made easy here as there are many shops throughout all three terminals such as gift shops, book shops etc. There are no duty free shops located in this airport.
For the hard of hearing there are visual paging terminals and for the disabled there are lifts and a TDD phone on each of the terminals.
